 Welcome to Northern Tides Studio, I'm Amanda and I'm so happy you found me!

 I'm the owner and chief designer for Northern Tides Studio. I currently live in Northern NJ 🇺🇸 with my husband, two girls, and a few fur babies. As a young girl I was always drawn to the natural beauty of the ocean below and the moon and stars above. I channeled my passion for creativity to become a professionally trained artist at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

🌊 Northern Tides was born in 2021 out of my deep desire to create beautiful jewelry that is inspired by the ocean, and make people feel connected to its calming effects. I believe everyone can be inspired by my pieces to tell their ocean stories, and share their special memories with the world.

Just like we are all unique and special in our own ways; the same is true of my designs. No two pieces are identical because I carefully handstamp individual letters or designs into .925 sterling silver and gold filled. I meticulously work with resin, pigments, and beach sand, to design a drop of the  ocean and form it into a stunning necklace, as well as many other designs in various materials and forms.

I am blessed to be working in my home studio with the support of my loving husband and family. When I'm not working I love to be out and about with my family, breathing in the fresh air of the  countryside, or visiting  Cape Cod, MA when I need to reconnect with the waves that drive my creativity.
